Automatic update of purchase order price from info record

I create a PO in the month of Jan-2024 for which the GR and IR was not posted. The price in the purchase info record got changed in Feb- 2024. Can the price of existing purchase orders be changed as per the new price in the info record? Can it be achieved through standard settings?

Hi,

You may check the Automatic Document Adjustment functionality with MEI2 transaction, if no follow on documents are posted for the PO. Refer the help doc # Automatic Document Adjustment when Conditions Change 

In addition, the price re-determination can happen during GR as well, without updating the PO. If you want the GR to be posted as per the price valid for GR date, you may use the price control option in the PO where you can set the price control as 5 (GR Date).

Hi,

SAP standard functionality is not available for such scenario however you can make a false change to the PO and it will trigger the updated price from PIR.

Furthermore, my assumption is whenever the PO is created it is already sent to Vendor, so you will send the revised PO to Vendor again?
