Automatic Notification Or Email to trigger for permit approvals during work order save.

Hi PM Experts,

Greetings!!!

My requirement is whenever the permits are assigned and saved in the work order,an automatic email or notification is to be triggered to the authorized person who issues the permit.

Again if the authorized person approves or rejects the permit in the notification or email, then the same status (Approved/Rejected) is to be updated in the permits issue field in the work order.

Kindly provide if any solution or work around for this scenario.

Hi Sree,

This should be possible, you can get the person name from the Approved by field in the permit.

Contact your workflow or ABAP consultant.

Can you please elaborate a little bit , how i should fetch the email of the approver ?
