Automatic batch determination in Delivery

Hi,

I am setting up the automatic batch determination at delivery level.

I did all the configuration needed for Batch determination and batch check, maintained the VCH2 transaction and activated the automatic batch determination for both item category (item + batch split item)

The batch determination is working with respect to the strategy info and selection criteria if i do it manually from the delivery through the Batch split -> Batch determination.

But the automatic batch determination is not working during the creation of the delivery.

Same issue on our client, the batch is updating automatically with batch split determination. I need the batch update in the same line item not to be split as mentioned   in the image

From your screenshots, the Main Item Category is TAN & Batch Split Item Category is ZTAZ.

Have you maintained Delivery Item Determination with Usage CHSP (Batch Split)?

IMG - Logistics Execution - Shipping - Deliveries - Define Item Category Determination in Deliveries

LF (Delvery Type) + NORM + CHSP + TAN + ZTAZ.

Check in two areas

1. Delivery item category 0vlp where the box is ticked against Automatic Batch Determination
2. In VOV4, for the sales document type, item usage is set to CHSP

Hi,

I maintained the CHSP in delivery item category determination according to the delivery type.

In ovlp the item category TAN and ZTAZ are checked for automatic batch determination.

Hi, thank you for your reply. All of what is indicated in those links is maintained. The manual batch determination is working, which means that the classification, strategy configuration and material master are good.

The automatic batch determination in delivery for item category TAN and ZTAZ (at batch split level) is also activated.
