My client is using SAP PM with RE-FX. Hence the source for creation of functional location master data are the Rental objects (building) in RE-FX. Whenever a new RE object is created in RE-FX, with system configuration it creates a functional location automatically. Hence rental object (RE) and Functional location are 1:1 related.
Now when a PM work order is created for these Functional location i.e. buildings, the order must be settled to the Rental object (linked to this Functional location). My question is how we can automatically populate the rental object in settlement rule of work order?
In case of Cost center and WBS as settlement receiver, the settlement rule can be defined as default CTR/WBS and the value of CC or WBS fields itself are available in Work order (from technical object) , so this populates by default in settlement rule. Is there a similar way to populate the RE object automatically related to this Func Location at time of releasing the Order?
Kindly suggest if it is feasible in standard or via some enhancement.
