Authorization Object for asset class in purchase order

Hi guys,

Anyone suggest which authorization object to be used to restrict selection of asset class in purchase order level.

I have tried A_B_ANLKL & A_S_ANLKL authorization objects but both are not working to restrict the user to select only particular asset class.

sorry if my suggestion is irrelevant: I am not familiar with S/4HANA Central Procurement...

Rather than managing the need through authorizations, could it be possible through BAdI (e. g. linked to search-help exit) where you could add your business rule with ABAP?
