HI,

Could you please clarify what's the difference between :

AUGCP: Clearing entry date

AUGDT:Clearing Date

Two fiels are updated in BSEG table.

Is there any relation between them?

the clearing date specifies as from when the item is to be regarded as cleared.

When clearing, the last posting date of all the documents involved in clearing is set as the clearing date.

But What's the clearing entry date? From where is updated?

Many Thanks,

Hi Siwar,

I did some tests to show you. In BSEG we don't have posting date and system date because these dates is in the BKPF table.

The dates we have for document is when we've clearing document and this is your case.

So, I did three tests. I post two documents (1500000016 and 1500000017) with posting date 18.11.2014 and the clearing date (AUGDT) was 18.11.2014.

In the third document (1500000018) I change the posting date to 30.11.2014, in the future,  and the field AUGDT was filled with 30.11.2014, i.e, the AUGDT is the same as BUDAT in the BKPF.

The AUGCP always will be system date.

Tables:

BSEG     - BKPF

AGUDT = BUDAT

AUGCP = CPUDT

Hi Siwar,

Yes. It is normal this date is in the future.

The AUGDT it is a date that you want to clear the document. And this can be in the future.

The AUGCP it is date in the system, real system's date that you cleared.

Example: You've an invoice with date in 10/11 and in the end of month, you'll be in vacations. So, you want to do a down payment today 14/11 (AUGCP) with date in the the end of month - 30/11 (AUGDT). So you can do a down payment today with date in the future.

The condition is the clearing date of a line item is never allowed to be before the posting date of the item.

Hi,

yes, its normal. Mostly the clearing date would have been inputted by User during creation for some business need. Because of which the clearing date is showing as some future date.

Hi Siwar,

Clearing date is the field which can be edited (or refers to posting date) always while creating the clearing document/while clearing any open items, whereas Clearing entry date is the field which takes SY-DATE as its default value.

Also, Please check these 2 fields in BSAD/K/S table.

Hi Siwar, how are you?.

To clarify and have a simple look of this two fields you have to understand that you can clear a document to a different date of the process run, so if you clear a document for last month day at 14/11 BSEG will update with AUGDT last month day and AUGCP with 14/11 date.

AUGCP: Clearing entry date

AUGDT:Clearing Date

This two fields are updated from any payment transaction at the same time.

Regards.

Maximiliano.
