Assign a list of materials to group

Hello All,

I want to assign a list of materials to a particular group and group counter.

We can not go with BDC.

I am using bapi BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE but it is not helpful for assigning a material to a group.

Please suggest..

If a routing already exists and you want to assign list of materials, a simple LSMW recording will also work. Did you try?

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the late response.

@ Himanshu - I have created LSMW and it is working fine. But the requirement is part of WRICEF and client is not agree on LSMW/BDC.

@ Rajen - Material assignment in CA02 is manual work. Anyway we have developed a z-program which is working fine. This is under testing from client side. I am sure this will fulfill my requirement.

Please let me restate the requirement, there is a routing task list and you want to use it for many materials.

If yes, you can use the 'material assignment' button in CA02 header view.

Please correct me if I have understood the requirement wrong.
