Asset with no values still depreciating

Hi All

I have a strange issue where asset is depreciating even though there is no acqisition value.

Asset Explorer-

It shows no values.

Even shows nothing was posted.

No activity shows at AR02 or S_ALR_87012936.

However it shows value posted at G/L level.

Even shows depreciation to be posted for 4th period.

Add the deactivation date in teh asset master data, this will solve the issue. If you retired the asset and there is no deactaivtion date then this may happen.

Hi Pankaj

As mentioned there is no acquisition still it depreciated. If there is no acquisition then but obvious there won't be retirement too. I m already aware of different solution but trying to find reason behind it.
