Asset Depreciation posted to next period instead of current period

Dear friends,

When depreciation is posted, it is skipping posting period 1 and getting posted to 2nd period with 1 and 2 period amount.

I am in SAP S4 Finance 1709.

i have checked in OAYR, the settings are fine. Monthly is checked, period interval is 001.

Please suggest.

All the help will be greatly appreciated.

Dear Sridhar,

Kindly check the period control assigned to the depreciation key you are using at AFAMA.

And then confirm the configuration on the OAVH - Define Calender Assignments.
