dear sir

we created one asset under plant and machinery 13.91% but it should create under low value asset. how to change asset class for the asset. we wanted to modify the asset class.

Laxmi,

Create a new Asset in the required Asset class. Use T-code ABUMN (Transfer within company code) to move this asset.

Transfer Asset from Old Asset Class to new Asset Class T.Code: ABT1N

Give Asset Number, and give under inter company Transfer to, Give Company Code and Select New Asset Radio Button, and Select Baster Data Button System gives PopUP there you Give New Asset Class and SAVE, System Generate New Asset in New Asset Calass.

you cannot change asset class once you create asset code.

so create new Asset code in Low value asset class and transfer the balances.

Dear Laxmi,

Asset is created under Asset Class and Asset No is generated Accordingly. Asset canot be change from one asset class to another asset class. For this you have to creat another Asset under Low Value Asset Class. Delete the wrong Asset in TCode: AS06 if you not posted any Value.
