Hello. I am implementing fixed asset accounting in SAP S4 HANA Cloud for a company in Mexico. This company requires the following areas to exist in the chart of depreciation:
Area 01: This is the main area that posts in real time to Ledger 0L with accounting principle 60 and a straight-line depreciation key.
Area 02: This area does not post and is assigned to Ledger 0L with accounting principle 60. It calculates depreciation for the Machinery and Equipment fixed asset classes using the units-produced depreciation method (key).
Has anyone implemented Area 02? Could you help me with the step-by-step configuration or a manual?
I would greatly appreciate it.
