Need help please. We are cleaning up vendor master data for our move to S/4HANA; we are currently on ECC6 and part of what we are doing is evaluating the industry types and considering adding more appropriate industry types so we can group similar companies in the same industry together, and also 'deleting'/deactivating those industry types which are not needed anymore. We were advised by our Corporate IT that it is considered an enhancement and we just have to wait post S/4HANA to do the clean-up. Is it really an enhancement, or it is just a change in the configuration settings? Is it also advisable to do the clean-up post S/4HANA and bring in uncleansed data? We are not technical people but we are the ones accountable for vendor master data, which will now be BP in S/4HANA, and we haven't even been trained on the BP function in S/4. Please help and thank you.
