Archiving object BC_XMB

Hi,

For archiving object BC_XMB please provide step by step process for archiving.

I have read may sap notes and sap documentation but not clear about BC_XMB archiving works. This object is not an ILM object then how we will destruct this data stored in archive server. it will occupy huge space in archive server as it already occupying 1 TB space in sap tables SXMSCLUR/SXMSCLUP.

Is write, delete and store all 3 steps involve here?

Isn't this object work like other archiving objects? please explain step by step process involve in BC_XMB archiving- write, store delete, destruction.
