Applying tax in the product level of a sales order

Hi,

In my integartion software I am adding sales order to SAP By Design sales order through webservice. I have taken the help of this blog.Now I want to apply tax for each product level what will be xml structure for that.

Hi Utpal,

Unfortunately you cannot interface tax amounts or settings with the webservice call.

The tax is determined automatically by ByD, depending on the item type, selling company and ship-to party. So, you will need to make sure your external application is using the same logic on the tax calculation as ByD. If you're planning to sell into countries with complicated tax structures (like the USA), it would make sense to think about a integration for taxation with a third-party vendor (see details here: https://blogs.sap.com/2017/10/09/taxation-in-sap-business-bydesign-with-third-party-vendors/). You could connect your external application to that vendor as well as ByD, to make sure both applications are using the same taxation.
