apply fixed value overhead at each material level - Overhead costs

Hi,

we use standard costing in our system. the costs are summarized at BOM and gets updated in the MM record. its a annual process. we have to add a overhead costs (Tariff costs) to the MM record at the material level. we understand the standard functionality is to apply a percentage of the material  costs as overhead in the standard cost estimate.

Our requirement is add a cost for each material, Material A may have 5 USD to be added to material costs, Material B - 3 USD to be added to material costs and so on. 

is there a way to do this in SAP to add the costs at material level and make the system to calculate it ? Phantom material is not allowed.  Please advise. 

the other option we thought is to use MR21 tcode to update the price by calculating in an excel sheet. we want to use it only if nothing works.

Hello @GKNTECHNICAL you can try user exit in valuation variant (option U) - in that you can write in addition to general logic + add value of Z condition type in material valuation. This  Z condition type records then can be maintained at material level using MEK1/2.
