Dear Team,
We want to post down payment request and down payment from MM module (not from FI). We found an application "Monitor Purchase order down payment" application, wherein we are able to post down payment request alone. Unable to post down payment.
Is there a way out to post down payment from MM? (similar to ME2DP in on premise)
If yes, please guide us how to do so.
Thanks & Regards,

You can use 'Monitor Purchase Order Down Payments' app in conjunction with Downpayment details at PO header (Payment Processing tab) or PO line (Invoice tab). The functionality on PO can be accessed by 'Create Purchase Order Advanced' app and it is same as that in ECC.
Hope this is helpful.

Hi Bindu,
Thanks for the response.
So you mean to say that, we can post down payment (not down payment request) by using the application "Monitor Purchase order Down Payments". Is my understanding correct?
If not, please mention the application name, where we can post post Down payment (not request) from MM module (not from FI).
Thanks & Regards,

Hello,
Based on S4HC documentation of Scope Item Accounts Payable (J60), for Post Down Payment you can use Post Outgoing Payments app. You'll display in that app all the opened down payment requests for a specific supplier (previously created with Monitor Purchase Order app) and you can clear and post the selected entries.
Regards,
Eduard
