Append original document in DMS with additional information (e.g: version history, or approval logs)

Dear DMS Gurus,

I have requirement from business, to be able to print already approved document in DMS with information regarding the Versions history and also Approval Logs & Timestamp. I am new to the DMS, just wondering if there is a FM or functionality that can edit the uploaded original and add additional information and then generated as a new file.
