App for Excess inventory analysis

Dear experts,

could you please answer the question whether an app exists that allows analyses of Excess Stock, i.e. a list that shows you the current stock levels, all future in- and outflows, and the resulting final stock across multiple materials?

Business case is that the user wants to evaluate which materials have been ordered in excessive quantities based on the current demand situation to act upon that insight and reduce order quantities in purchase orders accordingly.
