Dear all,
After several test of the API Service quotation A2X to change the status of a service quotation in accepted to have a service order created automatically, it seems that this action is not giving the result expected and communicated in the documentation.
Instead of accepted, the service quotation is turned into the status 'under review'.
We tried with the status rejected and the API changed correctly the service quotation in rejected.
Can someone tell us why the action accepted is not working and what needs to be done?
As additional information, no workflow approval is used in between.
Thank you
Ingrid

Hello @Ingrid_at_Applium
To mark a Service Quotation as Accepted through the Service Quotation (A2X) API, verify that all prerequisites are fulfilled, particularly the Employee Responsible (mandatory since CE2408), and that all target items are complete and priceable. Otherwise, the document will be moved to 'Under Review' instead of 'Accepted'. KBA 3504623 - CE2408 API_SERVICE_QUOTATION_SRV raises message: 'Enter Employee Responsible'
With best regards

Good day @Ingrid_at_Applium
Thank you for your question
For the Accept action to happen, make sure your service quotation type has a valid follow-up Document type and your status schema allow transition to Accepted with an automatic creation action. If those are missing, the system will set the quotation to Under Review instead of Accepted.
Have a look at these links for detailed guidance: Service Quotation (A2X), Manage Service Quotations & Service Quotation
Best regards
