API for Creating Product Characteristics on S4HC Public Edition.

Hi Practitioners,

Is there any API available on S4 Hana Public cloud out of the box to create Product Characteristics and assign the values. The Product Master (A2X) API does not have any possible way to create Classification Data for holding the Product Characteristic values.
The API Product Master Data Including Classification – Read does not have Create option and it is limited to Read.
Please suggest any API for creating the characteristic data for a product.

Below are some of the approaches which SAP supports currently

Use the Migrate Your Data – Migration Cockpit app with the migration object Object Classification to load classification assignments and characteristic values for products. This is the only standard way to create classification data in bulk in Public Edition.

Use the Mass Maintenance for Master Data app (together with Export Master Data) to download, edit, and re‑upload classification values for existing products. This works for updates, but not for creating new characteristics or classes; those must be created via the Manage Characteristics and Manage Classes apps.

I'm currently integrating a different non-SAP system where the payload for Product creation is passed to public cloud. the payload is a mixture of master data and characteristic data. 
once the trigger is initiated from the source, the product is to be created with the characteristics on public cloud. for this action we need an API for doing the process of creating the product header and classification data. 
for master we do have the Product Master (A2X) but there is none for classification data to fill the characteristic values.
