ALTERNATIVE RESOURCE

Hi SAP expert, 

I have a question, the context is the following. 

I have :

- a product A which should has as alternative resource 1&2&3

- a product B which should has as alternative resource 1&3

- a product C which should has as alternative resource 3

These products share the same recipe. Is any way to manage differents alternative resource depending of the products if they have the same recipe ?

Hi,

your can classify the workcenters and send all over in order to get them all shown as alternative modes (resources) in the PDS.

2469590 Alternative resources from work center classification not updated in the PDS in APO (Product Data Structure)

In order to filter by the products you can use selecons in order to select the needed resources.

Or you can try to use the ref. char setup as given in note 610873 - SCM: Using reference characteristics in PP/DS-PDS
