Alternative qty unit KWH cannot be converted into base unit HR

Dear Experts,

Please help me on this issue, a FG with order number 1358513 was confirmed in 07.07.2015. The order quantity was 400 BAG. SD user used 641 movt. type and also 642 in same date that's why stock remain 400 till today. Now user claim to cancel that order confirmation as he no longer want to see the stock of 400 BAG. I want to cancel the confirmation and TECO.

Now the problem is that while I am using co13 to cancel system gives me that message below:

Alternative qty unit KWH cannot be converted into base unit HR

Message no. RU077

The units of two BOM component for the stated material are in MT and EA. You can see from the attached screenshot that used w/c is BAG-01.

Hopefully the screenshots can assist. A quick response will help me a lot.

hi Fakhrul,

I wonder how the activity unit changed in your production order confirmation. your machine unit is hr, and user has entered kwh.

instead of maintaining kwh to bag, maintain as kwh to hr conversion and try.

The confirmation was done in 07.07.2015 and the unit of activity type machine & power was different from what is maintained now.

can you please tell me where should I try the conversion between kwh and hr? in material master I only have the chance to convert other units with my base unit BAG.

Units of activity type were different while confirmation posting was done, is that the reason for the error..?? I have attached a screenshot of basic data 1 screen; I guess the units (KWH, HR) for which error is coming in co13 is not related to the unit of measure of my FG material as it is maintained in BAG. I have option here to link up other units with BAG, how could I relate here between KWH & HR. Please explain....

Hello Fakrhul,

Can you please check your operation unit of measure in the routing and post a screenshot here ? You can do that opening the operation 0010 against your finished material in CA03 or CA02.

Alternatively also try maintaining a relation between KWH and BAG in material master for finished material, to test maintain 1 KWH = 1 BAG and check if it works.

I tried what you suggested to do in material master but it didn't work. activity units in routing is exactly the same as in w/c. I can disappear the current stock of 400 BAG of the material by using 102 mvt. type or by issuing it to cost center but I prefer and mostly want to use co13 successfully... if it will possible then I will be highly benefited.

Hello,

It seems that your default activity unit for Power is KWH and you have posted a confirmation in a different unit & there are no conversations maintained.

In this case please maintain a conversion factor in the material master and re try, Go to MM02 -> Additional Data -> Units Of Measure and maintain conversion factor for the base unit of measure and alternate unit of measure. Here in your case maintain it between KWH and HR.
