Current state: Basic finish date of production order is what drives components to be ordered and how many. If a production order with a basic finish date is sooner than when the material is coming in, we are not able to allocate the future material to that work order. Is there a way to change the logic in which we can allocate future material to production orders with finish dates sooner than when they are coming in? We are hesitate to push these finish dates out to align with when the material is arriving because we want that finish date to reflect customer request, which in some cases is earlier than we can provide them with and we want to drive purchasing to order with a sense of urgency.
