Hi Team,
As per the business process we blocked some dates in the planning calendar and we are
using the lot size key with the schedule key as "2", means delivery at the end of the period.
Now some blocked dates are falling at the period end and as per the lot size key we expected
delivery at the end of the period.Hence please let me know what is the hierarchy among the
lot size key and the planning calendar.
Best Regards

Hello Eswar,
As per your Planning calendar Period list and Lot size It is behave correctly.
In you planning calendar you have period of 05/26/2016 to 01/06/2016 and as per lot size it will deliver on period end date, Md04 screen show as 01/06/2016. which is correct for this period.
Please share your calculation rules details of planning calendar and how you block the date in planning calendar ?
As per my understanding, Your changes are not reflected in Planning calendar because your existing planning calendar period has firmed indicator (*)
Please remove the firming indicator once and re calculate the Planning calendar and check the result.
Please check and revert

As per calculation rule every monday requirement will created,
In the case of non working day system will consider the previous working day and create the order.
As you had couple of period set with firmed indicator, so remove all the firmed indicator first then save the planning calendar and again go to change mode and recalculate the factory calendar rules and check the period. Make sure all your blocking date should not populated in planning calendar period
How you block the planning calendar date?
Please check the above step and revert
Please check the planning calendar document in details for your requirement

Hello Eswar,
Planning calendar Date depend on the Factory calendar dates, and if factory calendar has non working day and same day period start date fall in that case Planning calendar consider the period date as per planning calendar calculation rule selection.
Ex. 1. do not displace, 2. Previous working day 3. Previous working day 4. No new period.
Please check the document for detail functionality of calculation rule.
There is no additional rule available to block the date in planning calendar. You can select the planning calendar rule as per your requirement and calculate the period.
In your planning calendar case, you have set as every Monday calculation rule and delivery date set as Period end date.
Please remove the all period firmed indicator in your planning calendar (Yellow marked) and save the changes
Again go to change mode and with proper selection of the date and execute the period calculation.
It will show all the correct period.
Please follow the above step and share the details.
