AFAB Restart run error - profit center missing

Hi,

we have not done depreciation run For last 2 years i.e. 2017 & 2018 in quality client. but now we want to carry testing activity related to Asset there , that purpose we have carried depreciation till feb 2017 successfully. But while doing MArch 2017 depreciation run, we stuck up at restart run.

total for 6000 assets error occured as given below -

Message(s) during check of document ERROR00001

Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 058 not filled

Error messages after processing of assets

Posting run ended with errors Job finished

Necessary account assignment (AO90) and Document splitting check done and found correct.

Cost center & profit center data check done and found correct.

AS current financial year open is 2019 we cannot run AR01/AR02 reports.

Please guide how to solve this error?

Hi,

Did you check whether you have maintained the settings for Account Assignment Object using transaction code ACSET for cost center and depreciation for the depreciation area of line 58?

hi,,

yes. we have maintained cost center in T-code ACSET and also cost center maintained in Asset master of line 58. Error is given for some assets only and not all. Still Feb 2017 i.e. 11 months depreciation charged properly.

still it is stuck up in restart run of period 12.

we are not getting how to solve this issue.
