AFAB picks an AUC asset with 0 balance

Hello Friends,

User executes AFAB which gives an error because an AUC asset was by mistake having a normal Depreication key instead of 0000. Later user settled the WBS related to that AUC and settled it. Also the depreciation key was updated to 0000.

Now while AFAB is being run, system still picks up that asset and tries to post some depreciation. (This time while executing it, system forced to use RESTART option)

Options like Block/Delete Asset, Recalculate values, etc all have been tried. Still system keeps picking value. ANLP also shows record of this asset with value in To Be posted.

Any pointers?

Hi Kishore,

If you have changed the depreciation key to "0000" and re run the depreciation then ideally there should not be any error.

If still error persists, you can consider shutdown the asset for the said period and then run depreciation.

After the dep run you can remove the shutdown indicator.
