Advance G/L Account determination issue facing into SAP B1

Dear All,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am facing an issue while performing the Account Determination to Advanced G/L Account Determination process in the live database. Specifically, only a few Item Groups and corresponding G/L Accounts are appearing in the Advanced G/L Account Determination screen, instead of all the expected item groups and G/L accounts.

We had selected the option "Migrate Account Assignments and Stock G/L Account Determination Settings" during migration, but it seems that some mappings are missing.

SAP Business One SQL version, SAP B1

Regards,

Nikunj

Hi @nikunjmehta2290 ,

Have you checked whether you have conflicting rules before migrating? I would look at that. Additionally, you could check the G/Ls details and Item Groups setup to see if something is wrong.

This is a hard one, so I'm just guessing here and trying to give tips to fix it by elimination.

BR,
Felipe

Hi @nikunjmehta2290 ,

Do you have a backup from the state before migration? You could restore it on a staging environment and check if you have any conflicts, e.g., Inconsistencies in account assignments (e.g., conflicting settings at item, warehouse, or group levels), some accounts may not migrate properly.

You could also use the "Preview Advanced G/L Account Determination Rules" option to simulate the migration and identify accounts that might be skipped.

Additionally, you could reverse the process (using a restored backup in staging), activate it again and monitor results.

No obvious answer here, but I hope it helps you somehow. Good luck!

BR,
Felipe

Hi Felipe,

Thank you for your update.

I have restored the database and repeated the same activity in the test database. However, it still does not migrate all Item Groups into the Advanced G/L Account screen.

Could you please help us identify the reason behind this issue and guide us on how to resolve it? Additionally, is it manually map the G/L accounts into the Advanced G/L screen instead of auto?

Your assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and looking forward to your response.

Hi @felipe, Issue comes into second database as well. Not comes all CoA during migration.
