Adding Tcodes in SAP HR Renewal CHIP

Greetings,

Looking for an option to add Tcodes in a custom CHIP for eg ZTransactions Chip.

Please suggest.

You can add the z transaction to launchpad, from that launchpad you can add to SAP HR Renewal chip.

Hi Meera,

Thanks alot for sharing this piece.

I am able to add Tcode to other CHIP for eg : Actions,

From LPD_CUST i am able to add Tcodes to Actions Lane,

But reqt is Custom Chip Lane and to it , adding TCODES to that LANE.

Any inputs pls share

where you adding the transaction codes? in LPD_CUST? thats the place you can add it from.

for others to work like action etc, did you add tcodes in lpd_cust right?

Hi Sid,

Finally Sid had lissened...

Yes, took HR PAO Actions in LPD_CUST and taken Type as TRANSACTION and took PA20 and saved was able to view it ACTIONS LANE.

Steps include,  creating  UI2/CHIP tcode custom chip lets say for eg; ZMYTCODES and assigned this CHIP to Role and was able to see  the Custom CHIP as LANE.

Now which LPD role I need to choose from to have all tcodes visible under one Lane.

all the actions are from HRPAO ACTIONS or BASIC_ACTIONS etc, this is for standard screen

now in your custom screen you need to have a personaltion key which calls this launchpad role etc

now then first all which transactions you are adding in it is it for ESS or MSS or HR PROF role, accordingly you need to decide the role and choose personalisaiton key etc

In the standard HR Professional composite role, the standard Actions launchpad (with the role HRPAO, instance ACTIONS) is assigned as the default value to the personalization object key HRPAO_ACTIONS_LPD.

Standard Settings SAP delivers the standard feeder class CL_HRPAO_ACTIONS_LPD_FEEDER for the Actions launchpad (role HRPAO, instance Actions).

Will follow your inputs accordingly. We used the personalization key for Actions, but need to check your thoughtful tip.
