Hi,
I am implementing Personnel administration for 3 different countries. For India, Bangladesh and Vietnam.I have first made settings for India in SU3.Maintained MOL-40 and UGR-40. I configured all the actions and info group settings. There are country specific payroll info types that are also involved.
Can some one pls suggest me as how to go forward with other Countries.Should i change MOL & UGR for other 2 countries each time. Will Info group modifier help in such situation.

Hi Neha,
Thanks for the reply. It is really helpful. I have one more query regarding this. For me hiring is same for 3 countries. But this hiring action also includes Country specific payroll Infotypes which are different from each other. And we are implementing Payroll too.
In such situation is it good to go with only common user group....or different ones.
Regards
To sequence different infotypes specific to different countries in the same infogroup you can separate them using infogroup modifier.
So you would have certain infotypes which are common for all countries and then different country specific against their modifiers.
For example,
UserGrp Infogrp No. Infotype
99 01 0001
99 02 0002
99 | 03 0008 |
99 04 0009
99 25 05 0185
99 25 06 0186
99 10 07 0207
99 10 08 0201
where 25 is executed for Singapore and 10 is executed for US.
Hi Nisha
As shared in my linked post, you need to update V_T588D and IGMOD feature.
For eg, if your hiring infogroup is AA, user group is BB, then you can differentiate the infotypes by way of infogroup modifier and then update your feature IGMOD accordingly depending on the selection criteria you may like to use. You can refer to the screenshot in the post.
However, in such a case, please ensure that you do not set your MOLGA in SU3 (user parameters).

As far i understand IGMOD supports for the following decision operation keys check is there any way you can differentiate employees each other then only you can handle it with IGMOD until and unless you can not differentiate with mentioned parameters then better go with different User groups and different Info groups for each user group wise.
Regards
Venkatesh
