HI ALL,
Why is it necessary to "<b>Set Up Payment Methods per Country for Payment Transactions</b>", why can't this be directly created in Company code? Why SAP has provided this functionality (Payment method per country)?
Hi,
SAP is a ERP product which is intended to be used globally (already being used globally). A multinational organization may have operations in all the continents and it has to adhere to the local laws.
Keeping the above in mind, SAP configuration is set up in such a manner that unless a payment method is defined at country level it cannot be used at Company Code level.
Payment method Check - C may be used in several countries. But to use / configure for a specific company code - it has to be defined at higher level.
Thanks
Murali.
