Hi All,

User is getting authorization errors for configuration options in 'Perform Further Valuations' application in 3SL starter system even though unrestricted access has given to this application through the roles 'GL Accountant' and 'BPC Expert'.

except for the interest rates option user is getting unauthorized access to rest options.

Please advise on this.

Copy answer here:

it was a design decision to show the menu entries for Configuration but to block the access to the configuration by an authorization error. Therefore the behavior is not a bug. It is intended. It might be confusing that the menu entries are displayed. We are thinking of hiding the menu entries in a future release. But there is no decision taken yet.

App 'Perform Further Valuations' offers the valuation method 'Flat-Rate Individual Value Adjustments' only. This method requires a configuration of the value adjustment keys only. This configuration is available in CBC in SSCUI 101836 (Define Value Adjustment Key). If you want to use app 'Perform Further Valuations' you must maintain the configuration in CBC.

Please check to assign business catalog SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_FIN_GL0_PC.

Check this KBA for more details:

User already has access to the above mentioned catalog. The error is not related to the one mentioned in the KBA.

It says 'You are not authorized to use the transaction F107_MT2A'.

Hi Inchara,

Can you please let me know the SSCUI ID.

I couldn't find the SSCUI with name Perform Further Valuations.
