Hi Guys,

We want to limit the access for people to browse table in SE16 in S/4. And, we are seeking other ways than CDSViews as we have to create a lot of composite and consumption views on top of basic views.

Is there any Fiori app that can be used?

Thanks

Not my area of expertise exactly, but I fail to understand the link between "limiting access to viewed tables in SE16", "CDS Views" and "Fiori app".

Normally you do not grant access to SE16/SE16N to business users. Only consultants and developers are supposed to use these transactions in a productive environment and this is quite often done with specific users with which your activity is recorded and you may need to provide justification for using one of these (e.g. support ticket). In addition - you can always use authorization groups and S_TABU_DIS if you really need to restrict access to certain tables for different groups of support consultants. You can still use the concept of authorizations for SE16/SE16N as in ECC.

For business users you usually create dedicated transactions or reports to view and maintain the data which means that you can implement additional authorization checks if required.

I am not sure that I understand the part about Fiori app - did you mean that you wish to grant access to a FIORI app for SE16/SE16N to the support team? There is no standard app for this, but if you really wish to do this - you can try to create a custom tile by following this guide. This won't make the job of your colleagues easier if you do this IMHO.
