ABAP CDS: Data Type Conflict for NUMC field in filter

Hi Experts,

Currently working on ABAP CDS.

Creating a CDS view for the table with_item.

I need to give a filter or where condition using the BUZEI field which is a NUMC field. On giving field in the where condition, i'm getting the "data type conflict error".

whereas if give another field with data type CHAR then I'm not getting any error

Please advice.

What data type has your "field in the where condition"?

In the CDS F1-help there is a matrix of allowed combinations. Please check this.

Hi,

The field given in the where condition is BUZEI which is of data type NUMC.

Also checked the CDS - F1 help but it doesnt help either
