AA642 - Maximum investment amount exceded in area XX

Hi guys, could you help me with this problem?

The system issues that message when I'm trying to post an investment amount (ABIF transaction) of 2000u20AC over an asset that has an adquisition value of 1000.

I need that assets could have more value in an investmen support area than in the book area and that's the reason why I customized in ANVEST transaction an investment support measure with 'Max.per.rate' empty and 'Max.amount' = 999.999.999,99.

Anyone knows why the system is still checking that the investment amount <= adquisition value despite the 'Max.per.rate' is empty for the investment support measure?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Try giving 100 in Max.Perc.rate field.

Hi Madhu, thank you for your answer but if you set 100 in Max.per.rate field, the system will check that the investment amount be less or equal than the 100% of the adquisition value and in my case the investment amount is greater than the adquisition value.

Did you solve the problem? Does anybody know what to do?

Hi,

When defining the investment support measure (tr. ANVEST) you have to define a base area (usually 01 Book depreciation). SAP checks that the value of the investment support doesn't exceed the APC value of the base area. Even if the maximum amount defined in the investment support measure is very high (higher than an APC value of an asset). Defining a maximum percentage rate higher than 100% is not possible.

I have the same issue. I want to be able to post investment support that is higher than the APC value. If anyone found a solution, please reply to this thread.

Regards,

Andre
