Check the IDOC type and processing function module (e.g., MBGMCR, MBGMCR03). Confirm whether the IDOC is configured to trigger automatic confirmation or just goods receipt. Look at WE02/WE05 for the IDOC status — was it fully processed (status 53)?

In CO03, check:

  • Component Overview: Is the material flagged for backflush?
  • Control Key in routing: Does it allow automatic confirmation?
  • Confirmation parameters: Is auto-confirmation enabled?

If the component is marked for backflush but no confirmation occurred, check if work center or routing is missing backflush settings. Confirm that movement type 101 is correctly linked to the operation.

If IDOC triggers a BAPI (e.g., BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE), check whether confirmation logic is included. Look for any custom enhancement or user exit that might be suppressing confirmation.

I checked everything, what you have mentioned, everything is perfect, still not able to track in COGI.

One thing I noticed is that the status is PCNF, when comparing with other successful materials. FYI.

Hi Lakshmipathi, I found failed data in the table AFFW with MSGID, MSGNO and all MSG related fields are blank. This is the reason this record was not in the COGI. How it is possible.

In MB51, double-click the material document. Check the reference document. Is it linked to a production order, purchase order, or other document? Look at the document header → field Reference Document (AUFNR) or Order Number. If the reference is not a production order, the movement may have been posted manually or via another process (e.g., MIGO, MB1A).

Go to CO03 → enter the production order. Navigate to Component Overview. Check if the material is listed as a component. If yes:

  • Look at the withdrawal status and movement history.
  • If no movement is recorded, the 101 movement may not be linked to this order.

I checked the reference document, it is showing correctly. In our case thru IDOC we receive the (componenent)material thru 101 Mvmt type, during the receipt it will automatically do the confirmation for the production order material, but it has not happened. Normally in COGI, if there is any incomplete posting, it will show the error and its reason. In this case there is no message in COGI.
