Hello erveryone,
When I create an IT 6 for the subtype 4 (Emergency adress) for the USA. The screen contains only the telephone number field (nothing else more). But when I try to save this IT, the system tells me that I forgot to key in the STATE field.
Actualy the STATE field is requiered for all USA adresses, but in our case we don't need display all address field just the telephone number field.
Doesn't anyone has an idea to fix that issue ?
How about using a different infotype? If you are only capturing a phone number, how about Infotype 105, for example?

Use Table T588M
Use the standard screen 2000 copy and create the new screen as per ur requirement, use feature P0006 .

Guys,
Even I am having the same issue.
Basically when you load HRSP DEVKE47071 it will make State field required (override the screen control in module pool). In OSS note 1075428 for ESS and PZ02, it has instructions to make this field Input posible from Input required. I tried that but there's an error of state field required (5U-276) returning if I do debug the error screen with /h.
Just to let everyone know, I have tried making it OF/Hire/STD field in vain.
Earlier post asks to Copy it but not sure if that would be a good idea.
Any Idea's how can we deal with it? has any one Implemented DEVKE47071 yet?
Thanks All
Paul
Ok so it seems that I have a single solution, a correction from the standard screen 2010.
But this is weard, I mean we never do a correction or a repair on this screen, the only thing, is an installed note for ESS. And it seems that the error comes in the same time when we installed the note.
I have tought that it would be a newer note to correct this issues, but when I look on the market place nothing talk about this error.
regards
Hadrien

As suresh datti as mentioned use view t588m, for p0006 feature add additional conditions- use subty as an extra condition and populate some other variable key for the subtype and config the corresponding screen as per your requirement. Tyring to make the explanation short, I can try to be clearer.
Vick
Hi Vick,
We already have a condition like IT 6 - Subtype 4 - Molga USA - Variable key.
The problem is, for that entry in T588m, the field STATE is hidden but when I add an IT 6 subtype 4 for a person who has a molga US, we have an error message "STATE is a required field" even if STATE field is hidden.
So i'm not sure if I realy understand what you mean.
For this case we use the standard program, we didn't modify it. Normally it should work.
I have seen in the PAI of the screen 2010 of MP000600 program, a condition block added by a note used by ESS. I have checked many times and it seems that it is that condition block wich return us the error message.
I wonder if we change the feature, would it work ?
Hav you tried to use the Infotype Screen Control ie maintian the view V_T588M for MP000600 via SM30/31?

HI,
COMPONENTS OF THE SCREENS
1000,
2000,
3000
Each infotype has at least three screens:
An initial screen ( 1000 )
Initial screen is used as technical interface
Processed in background and not displayed
A single screen ( 2000 )
Its an interface between the system and the user
It enables to create, display or maintain data records
A list screen ( 3000 )
Enables to list all records in info type
