1MX Intercompany Billing

Hi Experts,

Working with Intercompany sales, 1MX in S/4Hana Cloud, we found that the supplying entity that manufactures the finished product, only can create the intercompany invoice AFTER the selling entity has created the invoice to the customer. We have a scenario that we face a timing issue between the delivery and the invoicing to the customer. The supplying entity would like to create the intercompany invoice directly after posting Goods Issue of the delivery.

In 2022 Q1 release, Advanced Intercompany Sales is described. Would that also have a solution for this? is currently another solution available in Cloud to create the intercompany invoice before commercial invoice?

On our roadmap I indeed see that there are plans for Advanced Intercompany Processes. I am trying to reach out to the product owners to find out whether they have already some details and insights they can share in regards to the situation you described.

Today I had a conversation with one of our Intercompany experts and I shared this question with him.

For 3 specific scenarios - Sales From Stock with Valuated stock in transit (SI 5MQ); Advanced InterCompany Stock transfer Order (SI 5HP); Advanced InterCompany Sale From Stock (SI 5D2)) - the team is now looking for customers who are interested to learn more about this.

Hi Annemarie,

1HO/1MX technically needs to keep the sequence of invoices and it will stay like this.

New "Advanced Intercompany Sale from Stock" scenario does not have this limitation as each invoice is issued in reference to its own sales order. To be more precise new process automatically generates chain of documents from customer sales order. By saving customer sales order system generates matching purchase order with delivering affiliate as supplier in CoCd of selling affiliate and matching sales order with delivering affiliate with Selling affiliate as customer. There is only one delivery document and customer sales order is leading object.

Also, supplier invoice on reference to purchase order, from described chain above, is used where 1HO/1MX would use iDoc to generate AP document.
