Looking for a way to pick from floor level and then high rack area. These are two activity areas so it creating two work orders 1 for each area.
the problem is the operator is not done filling the pallet and it once he picks one work order hit asks him to drop it off in GI area.
if it was 1 work order for 2 activity then he could continue picking without having to drop offf at GI area.

is this possible to have 1 work order with many activity areas in 1 order

Hi @castin ,

no, this is not possible. If you want to have one warehouse order (WO) to pick from both areas, you might consider to model them as one activity area.

In addition, you can try if you can manually assign a warehouse task (WT) from one WO to another WO using the methods in the monitor.

Best regards,

Christian

@Christian_Ries, unfortunately, the customer uses fixed bin for replenishments so that it removes the handling unit when it replenished for standard storage to fixed bin storage. This is the reason for the two activity area/Storage types

@castin , yes will probably need the two storage types as it is a very different kind of storage. But you can still define the activity area to span across both storage types.

I was able to get 1 WO for two different storge types by assinging the second storaget type to the same activity. Resorting the bins so it removed the old activities form the bin. from here 1 WO for two storage types were achieved

Hello Christian

Try using the setting:

SPRO -> SCM Extended Warehouse Management -> Extended Warehouse Management -> Cross-Process Settings -> Warehouse Order -> Join Activity Areas together.

That is private cloud activity. This for public cloud and that activity does not exist
