For many years, SAP customers have been offered the opportunity to request changes to functionalities and propose their suggestions for improvements to the delivered software solution.
Do you also have smart ideas for the product SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Advanced Financial Closing (AFC)? Are you open to share these with SAP and other AFC customers, receive recognition, votes and get the opportunity to discuss them with the product team in detail?
From now on, your innovative thoughts can be systematically addressed to SAP by submitting them through the SAP Continuous Influence Program and the following few simple steps.
How to submit feature requests
Step 1: Read the Get Started article to learn about the program.
Step 2: Register yourself for the project SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Finance, you can also check the Register the project article for a how-to-guide about that step.
Step 3: Enter the project SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Finance, then select the Business Category “Advanced Financial Close” and fill out all the required details of your idea. Please assign the tag “advanced financial closing” to the request, which will allow people who are interested in AFC to get a notification about your new request. Please check the article Submit new request for a how-to-guide about that step.
How to vote, comment and receive notifications
In addition to the initial submission of new improvement requests, we would like to encourage you also to Vote, Comment or Follow the requests.
To stay up to date about AFC-relevant improvement ideas, you can easily follow the tag “advanced financial closing” and receive notifications automatically. Please refer to the article Stay up date for instructions, how to follow a tag.
What happens with your feature requests?
The SAP Continuous Influence program is a crowd-sourcing approach for customers and partners to raise and vote on improvement requests, hereby directly influencing the product roadmap. Once an improvement idea is submitted, it is visible to all customers and partners for voting and commenting. Also, SAP will do a detailed evaluation and consideration of every single idea. If the voting is above the threshold, the requests will be quarterly reviewed, and their status is updated by SAP.
Each project in the portal sets the improvement request voting threshold quarterly. To find the latest thresholds for the specific project “SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Finance”, please check the announcement on the project home page.
