This is our first issue since SAP Sapphire, so we’ll feature some of the innovations announced at that event. AI was everywhere, with the goal of making users more productive in solutions across SAP’s portfolio. SAP Build Code is great example of a product that integrates AI to make application development faster and easier.
We are hosting our second SAP Fiori Innovation Day in Chicago on August 13. Please join us to see the latest innovations in our portfolio, including how AI makes building SAP Fiori apps easier and a sneak preview of some planned functionality to make business users more efficient when using SAP Fiori apps.
If you want to meet with fellow developers and the SAP engineers who build our professional development tools, I encourage you to join our monthly SAP Fiori elements and SAP Fiori tools roundtable group.
Our next meeting is August 14, 2024.
Learn about the group at https://blogs.sap.com/2021/07/31/peer-to-peer-learning-at-the-sap-fiori-elements-and-sap-fiori-tools...
You can also email me if you would like an invitation.

Reality check on applying clean code principles in SAPUI5 development
Applying clean code principles to SAPUI5 development is essential for building maintainable, scalable, and robust applications. Real-world constraints can make it challenging to follow these principles perfectly. By understanding the constraints and striving for continuous improvement, developers can still achieve a high standard of code quality.
