Thank you for this blog and the detailed ES elements.The list is exhaustive, and this is what I was looking for. Once again, thank you for the posting consolidated information.

I just had a look at IMG structure in one of our SAP system and under Enterprise Structure --> Definition found all these below as part of the Enterprise Structure:

1. Can you please confirm if all the above are part of Enterprise Structure and this is the exhaustive list of all ES elements?


2. Tomorrow if SAP decides to add a new ES element , how does the customer get to know if there is anything newly added (I am aware of one such way is through "SAP - Whats new" ) Appreciate if you can guide me with your expertise here pls?

Thank you for your kind words. Please note that I plan to enhance this based on availability I have as there is a lot that is miising in this as information.

you will see this being updated. Next steps is to update the COA mappings in the same section.

To answer your questions

 

yes what you have listed are all the elements which are part of SAP enterprise structure. I don't think in logistics and finance additional SAP structures are required to be added as the design is quite strong and meets all requirements.

SAP generally would release notes if there are any such elements additionally required. With public cloud introduction SAP is making the delta elements as a customer specific configurations hence I don't see any additional need to modify or add any elements in the SAP Enterprise Structure.

2. Could you please provide me more details on 'customer specific configurations' - do you have any link/wiki or note handy where i can read more about this?
