The 22Q2 release of the “Transition to SAP S/4HANA” road map has been published, and here are the most important things we have changed for you:

  • As always, accelerators have been updated throughout the road map, to link you to newest information on SAP S/4HANA release 2021 FPS01.

  • There are two new accelerators which should be used in the Explore phase of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects:

    • A very detailed presentation explaining new design approaches and extensibility options to be used in Fit-to-Standard / Design workshops

    • A package of new functional design templates

  • Also, accelerator content has been updated: One prominent example is the updated version of the well known “SAP S/4HANA Cookbook on Customer/Vendor Integration“.

  • With the next service release for SAP Value Assurance / ActiveAttention / MaxAttention,  services around custom code will be renovated and renamed to "Intelligent Custom Code Management" (ICCM). Starting point is a new code clustering tool running on SAP Business Technology Platform. The tool can help classifying code into categories Remediation, Retirement, and Rethink to develop a strategy towards making or keeping the SAP S/4HANA core clean. ICCM has been already incorporated into the road map. Additional changes in the upcoming service offering have been incorporated as well.

The structure on activity / deliverables level has not changed.

You can find the new release of the “Transition to SAP S/4HANA” road map in the “SAP Roadmap Viewer”.

Enjoy!

And as always: your feedback is highly welcome!
