Reading the Simplification List for SAP S/4HANA, Section 36.3 S4TWL  - Sales Activities states that ‘Sales Support: Computer-Aided Selling (SD-CAS) is not available in SAP S/4HANA, because it is not the target architecture.’  55 transactions are no longer available. If you were using CAS in SAP ERP, what can you do now?  If you weren’t using anything, is there something you could use?

Embedded processes are now available where SAP CRM and SAP S/4HANA share unified objects with the same database structures.  In simple terms, some SAP CRM functionality is now available in SAP S/4HANA on premise – fully embedded with no need for any other system component.

In Release 1809 of SAP S/4HANA on premise, some of the traditional SAP CRM Sales Support tools are available.  You are able to create activities, tasks, appointments, leads and opportunities as part of the pre-sales processes in your organisation.  These documents are based on the SAP CRM one-order design and the CRM WebUI technology.

In this Meet-the-expert event, you will see demonstrations of these new tools and understand how they can be used.  In addition to the product showcase, you will see what can be done to extend the standard SAP S/4HANA Fiori functions for using Sales Support.

As a conclusion, there will be a discussion of the product roadmap showing how the functionalities of SAP CRM will merge to either SAP S/4HANA or SAP C/4HANA.
