Hello Shyam,

I admit, I'm not thrilled about this change. The Legal Change Notification tool was definitely buggy, but at least the filters and completion statuses worked, and it's easy to find (for now) on the SAP For Me site. Other than the link within Legal Change Notification that says it's going away soon and to use Regulatory Change Manager instead, I can't find any way from SAP For Me to navigate to Regulatory Change Manager. Is it going to be added there as an accessible application?

Then, once in Regulatory Change Manager, it shows me thousands of legal updates, most of which have no bearing on my organization, or for that matter on my country. I have setup filters to only show changes related to USA and to SAP ERP Human Capital Management, SAP ERP Central Component, and Concur Expense, and the tool still shows me over 4,000 changes that are mostly related to other countries. As for Completion Status, it appears that it will only show items in "New" status -- the other statuses are not available for the filter. And, I'm guessing it isn't remembering the statuses we have set on past changes in the Legal Change Notification tool. Without these filters and completion statuses working, this tool is unworkable.

Will these issues be resolved before you take away the current tool at the end of April?

In the old Announcement of Legal Changes app it was possible to search with "On-Premise-Product" and the Component "SLL" for GTS relevant Announcements. If I try to find now in the new Regulatory Change Manager the Legal Changes for the Product "SAP Global Trade Services" there will come no entries. And it doesn't matter if I search directly for the product wihtout any other select entries or just enter "ATLAS" in the search field and don't fill in anything else. 
How to find in future with the new Regulatory Change Manager the Announcement of Legal Changes for GTS? Can someone please assist?

Thank you for your feedback. We will continue working on the tool and improving it, and your feedback is valuable and duly noted. I have updated the blog with a recording of our enablement session so that you can get more familiar with the new features. We have introduced a personalization feature so that end users can pre-select relevant SAP products which is then displayed as per your personalization in the Product Impact view. We have also introduced a list view for the search and filter screen, which should also help you search for relevant regulatory changes and save them as a variant. If you find a bug in the feature, please report it in the LOD-LH-LCN queue, and our team will address it. We are also working to bring over regulatory changes for areas such as GTS. We will keep you posted.

This was a little tricky to find, as only the webinar recording mentioned this, and it's also not visible in the SAP Help documentation...

Hello Shyam,

I still don't see a way to update "Completion Status" on any particular regulatory change. I can filter by Completion Status, but it seems to be only relevant for changes with statuses that were migrated from the old tool. The online help at https://help.sap.com/docs/REGULATORY_CHANGE_MANAGER/8d691963179a42858de62e51939bafe3/e1bacc7a18f14da... clearly states that it should be able to drill into the card for any particular regulatory change, click on "More" in the upper right of the UI, and then change the Completion Status. However, there is no "More" button anywhere that does this (there is one for "Related Products" which just expands the text for that section).

This is a critical feature that worked well in the old tool but is missing in the new tool, despite the documentation stating it should be present. Is there a timeline to restore this functionality?

Hi Matt,

This feature does exist in regulatory change manager. If you select any "Product Impact" from a regulatory change, you will see the button "Change Completion Status" on the top right corner of the screen where you can set the status to "In Process", "Relevant", "Not Relevant" or "Completed". I have attached a screenshot below for you to look over. I will adjust the documentation so that the description is more accurate. We have also migrated some of the older completion statuses over from the older tool with some exceptions, which can be found as an announcement on the home page of the regulatory change manager.

Thanks, Shyam! Yeah, that is different from what the documentation stated, and wasn't an obvious path for me, but your description and screenshot here was quite clear and very helpful. So, I've found it now, and I'm good to go! I was really struggling with this part.

Ok, I have to take it back. Yes, I can now get into that section, but there appears to be a major bug in the tool. When I drill into any card and then into the Product Impact, no matter what, it shows me the details for a different legal change. See my screenshot:

I've tried a couple different legal changes, but the details always come up for that one about the Maine SUI Wage Transfer. In this example, you can clearly see I've selected the "Revisions to Statistical Policy Directive No 15...", but that's now what I get for the details.
