Here are some questions from SAP partners regarding EPPM in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition. We provide our answers below.
1.In the project cost report we can see the production order number. Where is the link between WBS element and production order entered ?
There are couple of ways in which you can assign WBS to production order. You could login as a production planner (PRODN_PLNR) and manually account assign a WBS while creating a production order. Another way would be to create a ‘Preliminary procurement” (scope item 4RF). The MRP run would automatically create a planned order (and subsequently production order) with the WBS account assigned automatically. Another way is to create trigger production from sales order. This is the ETO scenario. The details are mentioned in scope item 6GD.
2. How to do the relationship map(Start-finish), finish to start in the project plan.
The relationship functionality is available in SAP Cloud for Projects (C4P).
3. We could not see the Resource allocation dashboard in the current release CE2302. Are there any changes in the new release CE2302?
I am assuming you are asking about the integration between S/4HANA enterprise projects and Cloud for Projects Resource Management (C4P RM). This is not available yet but planned for the future.
4. Is there any upload option in available in future release for project demand and project plan?
We do not have plans for providing an upload feature. However, this should not stop the customer in any way. Customers can create their own excel macros and use our APIs to upload data. This has also been demoed in certain sessions.
