PDF Work Instruction in ME 6 (and newer versions) POD

Hi folks!

 

I’d like to mention a thing you may need to display PDF Work Instructions in ME 6 (and newer versions) POD.

Make sure you have the following security settings in a browser:

 

1.     In Internet Explorer go to Tools->Internet Options.



 

2.     There navigate to Security tab and press 'Custom level' button.



 

3.     Find 'Launching programs and files in an IFRAME' line and chosse 'Enable'.



 

4.     Restart the browser.

 

 

Otherwise the Work Instruction Viewer is blank like this:



 

 

 

 

Let me update this old Blog post from 2013 with a link that explains what should be done to display the PDF automatically:
