NFPA Labels and Regulatory Content Update

Over 100 years ago, in order to standardize fire sprinkler systems, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) was founded. Today, in the USA, it's a leading source of information on fire, electrical, and related hazards. NFPA references are found in around 20 countries and territories, working on important topics like electric vehicle infrastructure and battery energy storage hazards. NFPA ratings can be found in section 16 of a safety data sheet and is now integrated into SAP S/4HANA for product compliance.

Assessing an unpackaged product or raw material against a compliance requirement for National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) ratings in the USA. Within the assessment, you can specify the data required for a safety data sheet or labels. You can update the data to ensure that the product stays compliant. This can indicate a rating for the health, flammability, reactivity, and special hazards for many hazardous chemicals.
