Many SAP customers rely on the Customer Service module of SAP ECC, and service capabilities of SAP Customer Relationship Management, for their after-sales service processes.
This is Part II of a two-part series, focusing on aspects of continuity from SAP ECC and SAP CRM. We will be looking at the new process variation that we call Maintenance Service. It is a service process that combines the best of SAP S/4HANA Service and Asset Management. This scenario is especially useful for industries where maintenance technicians maintain complex assets owned by their organization (maintenance management) and the same technicians also provide maintenance services for external parties and need to bill these services. The maintenance service order (MSO) and maintenance order (MO) are the core business transactions used in the maintenance service process. When a maintenance service item is released, a corresponding maintenance order is created. After service completion, the billing process is carried out through the Dynamic Item Processor (DIP).

Thank you for your interest. What you are requesting seem to be all the configuration detail on Service, Sales, Asset Management (Plant Maintenance), and all related Finances.
I am afraid I am not aware of any document that addresses them all in a compact way. Each of the domains is usually worth a training course.
@Adventurer, Hi Amin, no the feature we discussed in this webinar is currently planned to be only available with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and on-premise.
Hi Amin, the Maintenance Service option (in release S/4HANA 2023 we call it now "Service with advanced execution") is not available in any SAP S/4HANA public cloud version, so also not available in SAP S/4HANA CLOUD 2402. However this option is available in newer SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud editions.

I could only think of creating a custom field in both and have a bi-directional link. This does not change the process and service and maintenance orders are independent of each other.
Hello there is some capacity and planning tool in the scope of S/4HANA Service? or need to use additional modules like MRS or FSM? should have simple capacity and planning tool related to Service Orders and Organisational Structure.
