In each version of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, we present a high number of changes and innovations in the What's New information. To help you prioritize the most important information and corresponding urgent tasks, we have introduced a new attribute called Action.
This new attribute is available as a column in the What's New Viewer, and as a filter option. It should help you to focus on the most important What’s New information by showing the urgency of the information. The attribute has the following values:
This value is used for changes that might cause a day-1 impact in your system. This means that the change may lead to an unexpected change in user interfaces and system behavior after a release upgrade or an update. These changes require your immediate attention to avoid disruption to your business processes.
This value is for all changes that improve existing processes, but do not cause an immediate disruption while working with the affected functionality. It can also be information about a future change in functionality (including deprecations) that requires preparation by you.
This value covers changes that enable a new functionality or process that is not immediately active in your system. You can decide whether to activate this innovation, or postpone its usage to a later point in time.
This value is used for changes with minor impact.
The Action attribute is now visible in the Preliminary What's New for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2502; you can find it on the current Help Portal page SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (see What’s New section “Preview of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2502”).
