This blog post is part of a series called “Tip of the Week”. This week we'll introduce the Quick View feature in the Web Client.

You are a true professional. You are always on top of everything, you know exactly where things are and what the status is, at all times. And yet, you are human. We all are, and sometimes we just want to double check a specific detail. For example, when creating an invoice and you want to check the customer balance on the fly. For this use case and many more the Web Client for SAP Business One introduces the "Quick View":

Everywhere the golden arrow appears you can click it and open the quick view for the respective object. Here you can find key information about the given record - in this example - the customer. If you need more details, you can click the "View More" option and open the respective master data in a new browser tab or in the current one.

You can decide whether to activate the quick view in the settings window under the 'Me Area':

When disabled, clicking the golden arrow will open directly the respective record, for example: business partner master data, item master data, etc.

Available in the Web client for SAP Business One 10.0, version for SAP HANA PL00 and Web client for SAP Business One 10.0 PL01 for MS SQL users.

I hope you found this information helpful and as always, I’m looking forward to your feedback in the comments section below.
